I really enjoy this product.
The product came very quickly to my door, which I was impressed with. Unfortunately, it has the "pump" style of lid, so there was some spillage in shipping, which I hadn't really expected based on the picture. Those liters are the type that I had before, with no pump. In any case, I really love this product. It's really helped a lot with the damage my hair suffers from all of the coloring I do to it. My hair feels somewhat normal again. :) I also somehow manage to make these bottles last almost an entire year. I think it's a good value, personally.

"Fullfilled by Amazon" is the way to go
I took a gamble on this product based on the reviews I read here because most of them said there was some spillage during transit, but my hair is so fried and dyed it really needs some TLC. Let's start with pricing first. My local drug store sells the 10.1 ounce shampoo and conditioner for roughly $17 a piece. So by ordering this duo, which is the 33.8 ounce,(at the time I wrote this) I'm paying around $20 (per bottle) for more than 2x the amount. I'm not including shipping in this estimate. So money-wise, I feel this is a good deal since this amount will probably last me several months if not a year at least. Next I'll move on to packaging. This was the area I was the most concerned about, and is also why I feel I should write this review. I had this order fulfilled by Amazon, that was important to me. Great Shampoo/Conditioner
This is the greatest product, especially if you have thin, dry hair. A new employee at work just happened to be attending beauty college. I asked her if she knew of a product that would be gentle on my hair. She suggested K-Pak. I started using the shampoo/conditioner and within a month my hair started looking healthy. Even the general manager of the store said something about how nice my hair was looking! I would have never believed it if I had not tried this for myself. I normally don't believe what I hear, I have to try the product to see the results. This did not disappoint me in any way. I ran out after a few months (this product lasts a long time) and went back to a store brand. Big mistake! Again my hair started to get dry and dull. I bought Joico K-Pak and it turned my hair back to beautiful. If you have thin, color treated, dry, easy breakage, then this is the product for you!

Beautiful Hair
I have medium long beautiful hair that I've been highlighting every 6 weeks for years. The joico K-pak series has helped me maintain beautiful, soft silky hair over the years that always looks bouncy and shiny. I don't use gel or hairspray and I try not to damage my hair too much. But the continuous coloring does weaken it. I tried so many different things on my hair to reduce the frizziness, split ends and dryness, but this is the only shampoo and conditioner that will give me great results for regular maintenance. I order these products from Amazon as it is cheaper than the salons and I usually get 2 bottles with free shipping. Works for me!There is one other conditioner that I use about every 1-2 weeks that will provide extra repair - especially right after coloring - and which makes my hair extra smooth and bouncy. A good shampoo is worth the price!
I always thought that shampoos were pretty much the same -- probably the difference was the aroma. I even thought that expensive shampoos were just a function of good marketing. How wrong I was. My scalp was drying out and very itchy. When I mentioned it -- and the kind of shampoo I was using (you know, one of those big bottles that cost under $3) -- to my hairdresser, he said Why not try a good shampoo? Perhaps Joico K-Pak, since Joico makes a wonderful line of products. Without going into the week-by-week improvement of my hair and scalp, I can say that, within a month, not only was my scalp free of irritation, my hair quality had improved in a way I hadn't even anticipated. In short, I can say that Yes, a good shampoo is worth the price, and Jaico K-Pack is definitely in that category!

Tremendous value!

AMAZING!!
my stylist recomended this product due the fact my hair was dry and damaged. I really didnt want to spend $75.00 in the salon so naturally i came to amazon. THIS STUFF IS amazing. I noticed a difference within the first two washes. The smell kind of reminds me of laundry soap but it still works well. You dont have to use very much either. i have mid back length hair and i use two pumps. i would highly recomend this porduct!!!

The best!
the title says it all!! This is my favorite shampoo and conditioner! I have tried a lot of salon products (moroccan oil, healthy sexy hair, chi, biolage, nioxin, matrix, kenra, john frieda, fekkai, etc) and this set is by far the best i have used! for my hair -fine and dry- it does not weigh down the hair, and leaves it SO soft. i like to use this with the recovery treatment balm. normally i need a detangler after washing my hair but when i use this shampoo/conditioner/treatment balm the brush easily glides through my hair!!

Better than I expected
I have waist length blonde hair and am constantly changing products. I have used other Joico products in the past and figured I'd give this set a try. This set turned out to be better than I expected. It leaves my hair perfectly moisturized and tangle free without being too weighted down. I find myself using lots of shampoo and conditioner just to get my hair clean and coditioned, however with this product, a little bit goes a long way. I would definitely buy this again.

great product
I have been using this product faithfully since a hair dresser on the movie set suggested it to me. I can def. tell that my hair is healthier. I still see alot of split ends that came back after I cut my hair but I don't know if this product could help with that or not. My hair is def. healthier looking and more moisturized. It even feels a little thicker.

Fabulous treatment for dry/damaged/color-treated hair that likes protein
My review is for AUTHENTIC K-Pak reconstructor (and if you don't get it from a salon/authorized dealer, you can't know if it's the real thing, honestly). It's tops in terms of protein treatments I've tried for my very dry, porous, color-treated hair. The real product is best used in a way that allows for at least 25 or more minutes of it with a processing cap and under a hood for heat or with a heat therapy cap. It MUST be followed by a deep conditioner for best results. This is not a conditioner. It's a reconstructor. The conditioner should FOLLOW.If your hair is not happy with protein (coarse hair tends to react BADLY to a lot of protein), steer clear. But if you have fine hair or damaged/color-treated hair of medium texture or know your hair loves protein, try this. It's great. Gives softness and shine that lingers.But get it from an authorized seller best to avoid getting bad product or old product (check the Joico site online for authorized sellers). Or,...

A must have for damaged hair
I have damaged my hair so much from over-dying over the years. I didn't think there was anything that could help - and I have tried so many different conditioners. Joico K-PAK Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor has done what no other conditioner had - it made my hair soft again. Directions say to leave it in for five minutes and that is enough time, but the longer you leave it in, the softer your hair will be. This is not an over night cure. It took about a month for my hair to really start to show some decent improvement.This seller is fantastic too - quick shipping every time.
