If you are on the fence about buying cycling shoes for your spinning class, get off that fence and buy them. You don't need to shell out $300 on pro shoes, these shoes are fantastic. You can ride faster and transition from sitting to standing without worrying about the straps becoming loose or your foot flying off the pedal. You can also pull up on the pedal, as well as push down, which works more muscles. If you tried that with sneakers and foot straps, the straps would snap.I'm a woman and these are guy's shoes, but these are sleek, they're stylish, and they've got an aggressive look to them that the women's shoes lack. They're also great because they are mountain bike shoes, and when you get off the bike, the tread is deep enough that you're not walking right on the metal clips (which you must buy separately) like you would be on road shoes. Comfortable, Lightweight, and Cool Looking Shoe
The Pearl iZUMi MTB shoe is very comfortable and tighten up real well with three velcro staps. Hardware screws on easily and is adjustable. Dirt and mud easily comes off the vinyl with a damp rag. Rugged construction. This is my first pair of MTB shoes and I wasn't disapointed. I normally wear 10.5 size, but it felt small so I exchanged them for a 1/2 size larger and they seem to fit better with a single or double pair of socks. Great shoe, very happy with this buy!

Very comfortable
I got these to replace my aging Specialized MTB shoes. They are a great replacement and work much better than the old shoes. If you use SPD cleats you will easily find a comfortable spot for long rides.

Great Shoe for the Money
I have had a number of shoes and while my favorite is still SIDI these have a very similar fit and feel for a lot less money.I would definitely recommend this shoe if you are used to a more Euro fit i.e. Northwave, SIDI, and Diadora..

Cleats included!
I saw no mention of cleats anywhere in the product description or the reviews and unnecessarily ordered a pair of cleats separately. No doubt I'll use them eventually, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time that they were included with the pedals.Otherwise I'm very satisfied with the pedals. One side for my daily commute in sneakers to the station; the other for weekend rides. Installation was straightforward and the cleats installed easily on my Shimano shoes, with only minor adjustment required afterward.

Great Dual Sided Clipless Peddle
I have had this one my bike for a month now and they are perfect for what I use them for. They were easy to install on both the shoe and bike. I use a pair of the old style shimano sandals and my wife uses the new sandal style lakes and both have no issues clipping in and out.It was my wifes first set of clips and while she is still getting used to clipping in and out she is getting the hang of it and it is getting easier for her. They also work easily with our local clubs spinning bikes.My main question was how easy was it going to be to clip in if when I put my foot down and I was on the peddle side and for the most part it has been pretty easy and only taken a couple seconds if I was on the wrong side to switch over. It is actually easier than my previous clip peddles that allowed me to clip in on one side only. Since the width was smaller on those it was harder to flip over and I would spend 100 yards messing around before I finally got going. And...

bearings were too tight on the pedals I recieved. I'd still recommend.
This is my first encounter with clipless pedals. I bought these for my dad to use on his Jazz by Trek mountain bike. I think that he really likes them, I know I do, but the guys that he rides with would probably rather that he not have clipless pedals and shoes because he already leads the group in speed.They seem to be made of quality materials but mine had bearings that were too tight from the factory (made in Taiwan).To loosen the bearings you need to: (your bearings might be fine)-remove the 4 hex head screws and the 1 Philips screw so you can remove the black U-shaped part. I used some heat to help remove one of the hex head screws.-now you have access the black end cap, I pried it out using a razor blade.-remove the nut.-remove washer, you may need needle nose pliers.-loosen the bearings cone some.-put the washer back on.-tighten nut.-check bearing tightness. (pedal should spin freely but it should feel loose.)...

Great Shoe, Watch Size
It's always a gamble to order shoes online as you can't try them on first. So reviews really help. I just got the shoes 30 min ago and have them on my feet right now. I wear a size 10 in nearly every shoe I've ever tried on and purchased. I read the reviews and went one size up on the chart, so ordered a 45. They fit perfect. These are sharp looking shoes, fairly stiff and not too heavy. They are quite comfortable. Sizing chart is wrong. These are my third set of Pearl Izumi's and you have to move up one full US size.So, if you're a US10, you need to order an EU45.
